Before You Apply

This takes about five minutes. But first, make sure this is the right fit.

Which role are you applying for?

Guide 1–2 days per week. Minimum 5-week commitment. Access control, daily operations, member engagement, and end-of-day close. Paired with a lead educator. Mentor Guide Same day(s) every week. Minimum 6 months. Everything a Guide does, plus a consistent relationship with a specific group of members over time. Kids will expect you. Workshop Facilitator Schedule varies by workshop. You have a skill, profession, or passion to share through a hands-on, multi-session workshop. Talk to us about what you have in mind. A few things to know before you continue

Guides are expected to show up on their committed days. Inconsistency affects real kids who are counting on familiar faces.
All volunteers complete a background check before their first shift. This is required regardless of role or age.
Volunteers under 18 need a signed parental consent form. If you're under 18, we'll walk you through that step.
The process takes a few weeks from application to first shift. There's a tour, a short call with the center manager, and some paperwork. None of it is difficult, but it does require follow-through.
