Paint Your Pet! BYOB Bring your favorite furry (or feathered) friend to life on canvas. This class builds on portrait basics while focusing on animal faces and expressions. We’ll also explore techniques for creating texture in a painting—from soft fur to whiskers and expressive eyes. All materials are provided. Please bring a printed photo of your pet to work from but please leave your pets at home! No experience necessary. We will end the evening with an engaging gallery walk to admire the collection of meta-pet portraits! Children and teens are welcome if parents feel they can participate in a focused creative environment for the duration of the workshop. All minors must be supervised by a parent.

Paint Your World! BYOB Step into the world of landscape painting and learn how artists create the illusion of depth on a flat canvas. In this class we’ll cover the basics of landscape composition and perspective, along with simple painting techniques that help trick the eye into seeing a more complex landscape. We’ll work through a landscape painting together, exploring how color, scale, and layering create a sense of distance and space. Participants will be given an opportunity to add their own flair and style to their painting. We will end the evening with an engaging gallery walk to admire the collection of meta-landscapes!
